Where’s Waldo?

waldo finds himselfDo you ever feel like Waldo, lost in a maze of humanity? It was a year ago that I took a break from writing this blog so I could re-evaluate and refocus on where I was going with Positive Life Decisions. I didn’t intend to take an entire year to get clear on things and I did continue to work.  But, here we are, a year later. I have often found in my life that it almost always takes longer to do something than I think it will.  Sometimes it is a bad thing if we are procrastinating for some reason. I have been guilty of that behavior. In this case, however, I believe it was a good thing and I took my time gaining more clarity about my path, my vision and where I wanted to go with Positive Life Decisions.

During this time, I walked two miles a day (when the weather permitted), lost some weight, worked with a new coach, studied meditation with the person who taught Dr. Wayne Dyer to meditate and worked on a new website.  OK, so I guess I was busy doing something! And, I didn’t go anywhere. I was still working and certainly easier to find than Waldo!

What I decided to do was design the new website to focus on the areas where I really enjoy working with people.  These are the areas that align with my path and my vision for Positive Life Decisions. I am launching the new website through this blog and hope that you will look around the site and share it with others. I will be running some specials through February 29th to celebrate the launch.  And, I always give a 45 minute Complimentary Consultation to those who want to find out if coaching is for them.

If you have been feeling a little like Waldo, it can be helpful to take some time to re-evaluate and refocus on where you are going with your life. Take some quiet time alone to reflect and ask yourself these three quick, but powerful, coaching questions.

  1. What do I want more of in my life?
  2. What do I want less of in my life?
  3. What is the one step I could take right now to move me towards what I want in my life?

Simple questions, but insightful when you stop and take the time to do them. Take a pen and paper or open a Word doc and write down your thoughts and reflections.  I promise that you will make discoveries about yourself.
